Hi All,

Never been to San Stefanos before but looking at all the reviews we are hooked...just what we wanted for a 2 week stay! :) We are looking at the Barras apts and just had a question; Do they let you keep your room on if you have a flight early hours the next day as we will be checking out on the friday but the flight isnt going until the early hours saturday morning?

Thanks

Holistica:
It depends really on whether they have anyone else coming in to the apartment that day - if not you can maybe speak to George about keeping it on an extra few hours. Some places charge a little extra for this but its really for discussion with the owner. Difficult if there are guests arriving that evening to move into your apartment - they do have to be cleaned and prepared for new occupants and that job is normally done in the daytime.

If you can't keep the apartment on, departing guests usually can use a room set aside for everyone changing and freshening up before your journey home ( not all at once of course !! )

Anyway, you would have to check with George, the owner once you arrive.
Hope that helps!

don:
the worst comes to the worst and George cannot supply a late room try next door! We have become good friends with Dominic from Thomas Bay and he has some showers down in the public toilet area. We have used these but it does mean carrying a damp towel home.

zoe:
if we have a late departure i take a older beach towel and use it on the last day and throw it away when we are ready to get on the coach then no damp suitcase

Then again... you could always stuff it in a plastic bag....
