more a tempura than batter,same thing is done with Aubergines...more an I talian than Greek dish

I am trying to remember where I had those!!
They do - - - do them in SS, but now that I am a day off the "Freedom" pass, the brain has become raddled.
Give me time - I may remember where - but they are nice.
