That's good to hear, love the menu at the Olympia. No problem booking in advance.

Have read online, that Vassilis had  heart troubles over the close season, and Olympia now offers a much reduced menu to ease his workload in the kitchen, booking is now advised too. Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery, and is able to get back to his kitchen magic very soon.

We were just told it was a health issue that was improving. The meal was still amazing when we visited, we both had their mixed grill.

Does anyone know if Olympia is still doing meals this year? Can't recall seeing anything this year about it. Its currently on our list at least once whilst we are there (nearly single digit dance time  ;D)

Yes they're open, doing a slimmed down menu but still excellent food.
When I was there in June with my family Vasilis went to the trouble of making briam for my vegetarian granddaughter and her husband as there wasn't a vegetarian option on the menu.

Ate there last week, slimmed down menu, but still a good choice of fabulous food. Busy most nights we were there, it is also open during late morning for lunches, either overlooking the pool area, and inside too, best chef in the village, in my opinion, is Vassilis.
