Whats happenin'
Jimbo:
There's a lot of activity in the Facebook groups. What's goin' on is: (1) people taking pictures of cats; (2) people taking pictures of their food. Off camera, the cats are probably nicking the food as well - so we can surmise that Brits and cats are getting fatter. Things are being spit-roasted, boiled and grilled at Manthos and other places. The webcam (above) reveals people lounging about on the beach outside Waves from about 11am until 6pm, with a thinning-out around 1pm as people go to Waves to take pictures of their food, watched by salivating cats. Given the, in my opinion rather strange, love some people have for cats I suspect it won't be long before somebody starts a fund to give all the stray cats in the village a mobile phone so they can post selfies to Facebook of their dinners. I recently bought a 170 degree sports video camera so I'll be able to take wide-angle mp4s of everybody's dinner, with a good chance of a photo-bomb by a moggie or two.
So I reckon that with a lack of murders, volcanoes, tsunamis, alien invasions or other interruptions, it's pretty much the kind of languid inertia you'd expect in a Greek holiday village in the summer. For more exciting fare, buy my fabulous collection of novellas "Fragments of tomorrow" in paper or Kindle versions on Amazon and read Digital Rites - there's a murder in Little Prince.

Same miserable old begger Jimbo. Much rather see photos if cats, dogs, meals, beaches, sunsets than read at your novellas, much more to do than read books.
Might see you soon, you owe me a drink for recommending the Halifax Clarity Card.
