Lesley:
The 1st direct charters from UK start today arriving in Corfu, so I am sure we will start to see a few hire cars passing though the villages.

Our Easter is 1 week later this year here - being 8th April and Corfu Town will be a very popular area for visitors to stay as a base whilst exploring the island's resorts and villages too.

Today, 25th March we celebrate Greek Independence Day - A Public Holiday around Greece with Parades in many villages and towns.  The weather is rather dull today, blustery and a bit chilly again too, which is a pity for the school children's Parades, however plenty of people will be lining the streets waving the Greek Blue and White flag marking this important date in history.

Jimbo:
Hurray! Flightradar24 just became fun again!

hippopots:
Yes Lesley, such a shame about the weather today for the parades.....will Summer ever begin??

Karen:
Thanks Lesley :)

Teamnickos:
Lovely to hear about the activity. Hope the weather improves for you soon.
