Just a reminder to check that your EHIC cards are valid before you travel .Cards can be renewed on line for free, no need to pay!

True Rover but be wary of finding the right site as some you go on charge as happened to my friend, luckily she rang me to check before proceeding

There are lots of sites which will charge, but there is a good set of instructions on the MoneySavingsExpert.com website. It is a free service, no payment required.

Could you explain about the eihc card please.I live outside the uk and not up to date with how this works.my normal medical insurance covers me for any circumstance no matter where I travel.but my son joins us in ss in july and want to make sure he has the correct papers.
