Thomson Flights v Thomson package holiday
« on: November 24, 2012, 12:15:55 AM »
I thought we might get a week in San Stefanos in May next year to keep me going till August. So I checked out the Thomsons website.

Thomson flights for two of us from Edinburgh on the 17th May including bags etc £873.00.
A package holiday for the two of us on the same flight including bags, transfers and bed and breakfast at the Teresas £836!

Who could believe that. ::)

It's the internal market.

Holidays and Flights are two different companies (under an umbrella). But Holidays can buy flights at maybe £70 a go because they are privileged.

It's capitalism. People used to think it worked!
