The C S A on the phone line said, our flight was under-booked, so they have indeed combined the two.
I may have been the only one!! LOL
I received a letter this morning asking me to accept or reject the new flight and to phone them.
(what happens if we reject? - still no flight!!)
As for booking seats, we pre-paid seats together so we could pick our own seats, but were told we couldn't choose seats until this weekend anyway.
The new flight has been upgraded to a 757, which seats more and is usually used on medium haul flights - 4 to 8 hours normally.
This means the seats also have a little more leg room.
We like the Isle seat and the inner one next to it, I don't like being stuck in the window seat,
so we were able to book seats in the front few rows, same on return.
So far the inner window seat is unbooked, and this happened on the last trip, so we had a spare seat - luxury!!
If someone pre-books certain seats, unless its extra leg-room seats, where you pay £50 P.P., then they give you the same or,
offer you the nearest alternative - I suppose someone will end up upset - but what can they do?
This time it worked out well for us.
