Jules, unless you can cheaper flights you are better going with Thomas Cook.  We have just booked for 12 September 2011 including extra luggage and meals on the plane for £1030.  This was with a local travel agent who gave us better discount than TC.

Jules, was it May 2011 you are looking at for staying a Teresa?
With Thomsons it is £942 for both of you including flights meals and flying from Manchester 23/5/11.[14 nights]= flight time 7.25 am.

UPDATE: Just checked Thomsons again and the holiday above has increased to £ 1002 including flight meals, so a rise of £60 over night.
Best to book at the weekend because they seem to have better offers on then. [14 nights]
If it was September that you were looking at then  mid September is £990 including flight meals. {14 nights]

I must have had around 6 emails from both Thomsons and First Choice last week advising me of special weekend deals

I had one from trip advisor sending me info and offers for Whitehaven in Cumbria, maybe peope have cancelled due to the terrible events.
Not sure why they sent me this because I only clicked on Corfu for receiving info.

Hi Lilly it is for September 2011. We will probably still stick with Teresa no matter what the cost.

Re Safety Deposit boxes, - no Vicky apartments do not have these either in room or on reception presently for summer 2010 - maybe something the owner can think about for summer 2011.

We always use the safety boxes in SS travel I think it cost 14€ for the fortnight for non guests, if you have booked accomodation with Noula it used to be free.
I wouldn't take a chance leaving valuables in the appartment better safe than sorry. :)
